Yesterday we received a link to a shocking video that has rocked the sock world.

The video above is not for sensitive sock lovers. You will see a dog viciously attack what appears to be a pair of Candy Stripe NicSocks. It sounds like the owner is chuckling in the background of what now is being called a “sock snuff film” by some, including South African web celebrity, iPhoneographer and industry leader Craig Rodney:

@NicSocks @spillly that’s a shocking snuff clip!

— Craig Rodney (@Craigrodney) October 28, 2013

NicSocks management have been alerted to this type of event before but this is the very first time something like this has been caught on film. We are shocked and as a community of Sockaholics are united by our love for socks. We won’t rest until this owner has been brought to justice.

Stay tuned for more as this story unfolds.
