Delivery issues over the holidays
NicSocks has tried hard to use the simplest, cheapest method possible to deliver you your socks on time and in top condition. At first the South African Post Office looked to be the most logical option. A cheap, simple and global solution.
Unfortunately over the December period some of the deliveries that were sent in the month were misplaced, have been stagnant at a single post office or our loyal customers haven’t been notified of their pickups.
So after much debate internally it has been decided that we will be moving to a courier company.
This means that deliveries will become faster and more reliable. However this speed and reliability comes at a slightly increased cost. All local deliveries will now be R30 per package.
Rest assured we’re doing our best to bring this cost down as much we can over time and will keep you informed as we go along.

Sorry you were let down by your supplier - that really sucks. Love the insight into how a small estore selling physical goods can be run from Cape Town. Very inspiring. Keep this kind of posts coming.
Thanks Max. I’m enjoying the small business ecommerce world. Dealing with real products, manufacturers and deliveries has been an interesting side of business I must admit.
